Creating Jobs for People with Disabilities since 1926

For more than 85 years, MAB has been providing employment opportunities to people with disabilities.  Since our founding in 1926, we have provided jobs to people who are blind or visually impaired making household products like brooms and mops.  Over the years, we have expanded the types of jobs we offer, introduced new products, and hired people with a wide variety of physical disabilities.

Our entire production team is comprised of people with disabilities – including the team leaders.  But we don’t limit employment opportunities to manufacturing jobs.  In fact, people with disabilities have been hired throughout our organization.  Over a quarter of our sales force has a disability; three-quarters of the agents in our Blended Call Center have a disability; and several members of our administrative, delivery, and janitorial staffs also have a disability.

In addition to employing dozens of people with disabilities in our own business, MAB also offers assistance to people looking to work in other local businesses.  Through this program, we have successfully employment placed hundreds of people with disabilities since starting it in the late 80’s. 

In short, MAB may sell mops and brooms, but our business is putting people with disabilities to work, and we can only be successful with the support of people like you who purchase the products we make.
